Alfalfa

Why DLF Alfalfa? At DLF Canada we select alfalfa varieties with improved disease resistance, forage quality, winterhardiness, forage yield and faster regrowth. Before selecting an alfalfa variety to add to our line-up, we test against competitor check and experimental varietites to see how they stand up in the industry. Only the best from our trials are selected and offered for sale by DLF!  It thrives very well on well-drained soils and due to its deep tap root it can withstand severe drought. It is a productive plant with high nutritional value. To grow and thrive Alfalfa needs a soil with a sufficient content of lime potash and phosphate.

Instinct

Instinct alfalfa provides High Resistance (HR) to all six major alfalfa diseases including bacterial, fusarium, and verticillium wilt, anthracnose, phytophthora root rot, and enhanced multi-race protection against Aphanomyces.

Eclipse

Eclipse alfalfa is an industry leader when it comes to disease resistance. Highly resistant to bacterial, fusarium, verticillium wilt, and phytophthora root rot, it's also the only conventional alfalfa in Canada which offers enhanced multi-race protection against Aphanomyces and Anthracnose.

AC Grazeland BR

AC Grazeland BR alfalfa is bred with a slower digestion rate to reduce bloating in cattle when grazing.
