DLF’s Eastern Canada Distribution team (formerly Mapleseed) sells various seed products – forage, turf, cover crop, food plot, natives and reclamation – to agriculture retailers, co-ops, municipalities, facility managers, landscapers, farmers and other end users in Ontario, Québec and the Atlantic Provinces. The key distribution brands include Forage First® forage seed, Earth Carpet® turf seed, Soil First® cover crop seed and Deer Creek Seed® wildlife and food plot seed.

Forage
DLF forages are selected for high yields, increased digestibility, and high quality. Our forage products are carefully evaluated through extensive private testing to identify the best traits and exceptional forage quality. Turf
DLF turfgrass have been developed to perform under a range of climatic conditions, cool season grasses as well as specialty products. Our turf varieties are suited for a myriad of conditions, such as drought resistance, wear tolerance, disease resistance, and turf quality.
Conservation
DLF has over 60 years of experience in the distribution of native seeds for reclamation, cover crop and wildlife seed. Our conservation varieties include native wildflowers and forage & foodplot mixtures that will fit a wide range of conditions across Canada and the United States. All mixtures are comprised of perennials and annual varieties for maximum effect.
