BASIC OPTION
Acceleron® Basic includes a combination of fungicides - fluoxastrobin, prothioconazole and metalaxyl - which facilitate plant uptake and translocation from seeds-to-roots-to-shoots. This option promotes excellent germination, stand, crop vigor, and better control of soil and seed borne diseases such as Pythium, Rhizoctonia, Fusarium, Phomopsis, Rhizopus, Aspergillus, and Penicillium.
STANDARD DIAMIDE OPTION
The Acceleron® Standard Diamide option combines the fungicide control from the Basic option and adds insecticide to protect the seed from early season pests such as wireworm, white grubs and seed corn maggots. The immediate protection to seeds and seedlings is extended to the plant up to the 4-5 leaf stage. This ensures uniform, healthy stand establishment and maximizes seedling performance, safeguarding the seed and enabling maximum yield potential.
The Acceleron® Standard Diamide Option offers a unique class of chemistry, providing an alternative for growers seeking newer, non-neonicotinoid chemistries. The active ingredients activate ryanodine receptors in insect pests, leading to unregulated calcium release, muscle paralysis, and eventual death with minimal impact on the environment and non-target species including pollinators, parasites, and predators.
