Assalt ST alfalfa provides high resistance (HR) to five major alfalfa diseases including bacterial, fusarium, and verticillium wilt, anthracnose, Phytopthora root rot, and Aphanomyces Root Rot Race 1. Plants also demonstrate resistance to various aphid species and stem and Northern root knot nematode. Assault ST is adaptable to a range of soil conditions, including high pH values. With high multifoliate leaf expression (41 - 75%) Assault ST has good forage yield and quality. Torrent has a 4.0 fall dormancy and a good winter survival rating, displaying a good balance of yield and survival. Average 48 days to flowering.
