Festuca rubra rubra

Maxima 1

Maxima 1

Maxima 1 Creeping Red Fescue is an excellent all-round strong creeper with very good disease resistance, stress tolerance and good visual merit year round. Developed in Europe, Maxima 1 has scored well at the Sports Turf Research Institute which underlines the flexible use of this variety. Maxima 1 will do very well in maritime environments and other areas where strong creeping red fescues are adapted. It should perform well where disease pressure is a factor. Suitable for use in diversified landscapes as a straight or in blends and mixtures where strong creepers are an acceptable component.
