DLF Seed Camp Brings Learning to Life in Port Hope
A full day in the field, practical learning and plenty of great conversation made Seed Camp 2026 an event to remember.
Hosted at DLF’s Product Knowledge Center in Port Hope, Ontario, Seed Camp brought attendees together for guided tours of the forage and corn plots, educational presentations and opportunities to exchange knowledge with DLF experts and fellow members of the seed industry.
The program included presentations from Margo Lee, Corn Plant Breeder at Glenn Seed Ltd., and Doug Goss, Vice President of Field Production, North America.
Across the site, attendees were able to see a wide range of forage trials and demonstration plots, including alfalfa, bromegrass, fescue, festulolium, grass & legume mixes, ryegrass, clover, timothy, orchardgrass, corn, cover crops, and summer annuals.
The learning does not end with the event. DLF's Port Hope Product Knowledge Center is open to the public and set up for self-guided tours. Visitors can explore the plots at their own pace, using on-site signage and QR codes to access additional information about individual trials.
