Recap of the 2024 GCSAA Conference & Trade Show
The GCSAA Conference and Trade Show in Phoenix attracted nearly 11,000 attendees, the highest total since 2008. The trade show floor sold out both days and the DLF team enjoyed record attendance at our annual distributor reception and bentgrass advisory board meeting before the trade show. In addition, and more than 300 golf course superintendents attended a seminar showcasing DLF’s cooperative turfgrass research program at TPC Scottsdale.

The DLF booth stayed busy throughout the trade show and served as the perfect spot for our sales pros to host meetings with wholesale turf customers. DLF Super Bents™ and A-LIST varieties were popular topics of discussion, as most golf course superintendents are looking to reduce their irrigation and chemical applications. New data from the National Turfgrass Evaluation Program (NTEP) and the Alliance for Low Input Sustainable Turf (A-LIST) continue to show our new turf varieties are genetically superior and make it possible for turf managers to grow healthy grass with less inputs and less maintenance.
This year's attendees were also interested in learning more about new turf trials at Oregon State University that showed DLF enhanced creeping bentgrass seed was outperforming raw seed pound-for-pound. Additionally, there was a lot of excitement from distributors, sod growers, and Super Bents™ users about the new DLF Pro Turf Map, a one-of-a-kind, interactive tool highlighting DLF’s major turf projects around the world.
