Festulolium

Perseus

Perseus

Perseus is a dynamic, high yielding festulolium (meadow fescue x Italian ryegrass). It has shown very high forage yield, in the seeding year, it shows the same yield potential of Italian ryegrass. However, unlike Italian ryegrass, Perseus maintains dominating yield production for the next 2-3 harvest years.

Key features

  • Same yield potential as Italian ryegrass in seeding year, continues high yield production for the next 2-3 harvest years
  • Increased summer performance and drought tolerance over straight ryegrass
  • High forage quality
  • Same persistence as perennial ryegrass over 3 years
