RIB is a hybrid corn featuring the SmartStax RIB Complete technology. This
medium-tall plant displays top end yield potential, furthered by its very good
root strength, ensuring stability and resilience in adverse climates and
conditions. DLF 2891GSX RIB also displays very good silage potential for the 97
RM market. The SmartStax RIB Complete technology provides above ground
protection from corn pests such as the European Corn Borer, , ear worms,
armyworms and cutworms and below ground pests such as the Northern and Western
Corn Rootworm.
