Pipeline Switchgrass Native Mix
The Pipeline Switchgrass Native Mix is a hardy, tall-growing blend designed to stabilize disturbed sites, slopes, and right-of-ways. With an establishment period of 1-3 years, this mix reaches heights of 24” to 72” and performs exceptionally well in various soil conditions. Its strong drought tolerance and ability to withstand extreme heat make it ideal for reclamation projects in strip mines, natural gas corridors, and other areas requiring soil stabilization.
Containing a diverse mix of native and resilient species, including Switchgrass, Creeping Red Fescue, and Annual Ryegrass, this blend ensures long-term coverage and erosion control. Additional species, such as Timothy and Alsike Clover provide ecological benefits by enhancing soil structure and supporting wildlife. As part of DLF’s blends, the Pipeline Switchgrass Native Mix offers a reliable solution for land restoration efforts across Canada.
